The shop stocks a wide range of picnic foods such as small loaves of bread and bread rolls, sliced meats, handy-sized packs of cheeses, fruit and salad-stuff, individual portions of butter and spreads as well as a full range of cold beverages, soft and alcoholic. If you ask nicely they’ll even provide plastic knives. Pretty much everything you could need for taking off to find some secluded spot to enjoy an al fresco lunch if the weather is kind.
With a boat capacity of 267 passengers plus up to 140 staying guests our pub, the Marisco Tavern, necessarily serves simple and informal lunches. Featuring our Island lamb, which comes as home-made burgers and locally-made pasties, we also offer a wide range of sandwiches, toasties, baguettes, filled jacket potatoes, hot soup and not forgetting our ever-popular cheesy chips.
Hot and cold beverages, beers, wines and spirits are available all-day, as are savoury snacks, cakes and confectionery.
The pub can get a bit busy at times but when the sun’s out you can sit out front or use our walled beer garden but we do request that people using the beer garden only consume food and drinks bought in the Tavern.
