A message from our Chair
I think it is fair to say that the Landmark Trust’s distinctive approach enables it to rescue heritage buildings which others find too risky and difficult. It is often a race against time and the elements, as was the case with Fairburn Tower which opened in 2023.
Ambitious projects like Fairburn Tower can only happen with the certainty of funding and knowing that we have a prospective gift from a will, or two, really does help to stiffen our resolve and keep us going. I hope, like me, you will remember the Landmark Trust in your will. It is of course an enormously generous thing to do, but it also brings huge satisfaction to know that your gift will enable works of great importance to the generations to come.

You can make a difference
We depend on the generosity of individuals, and gifts in wills play a vital role. Every gift, small or large will help protect important historic buildings and the flora, fauna and marine life on Lundy.
Many of our building restorations require specialist techniques, providing opportunities for craft training so these ancient skills can be passed on, a precious gift in itself. After remembering family and friends we hope you will consider leaving us a gift in your will.

Gifts in memory
Celebrating the life of someone special with a donation to their favourite charity will help their memory live on.
Thank you to the family and friends of those that have been remembered in 2025. These gifts have been used where the need is greatest in Landmark’s work including on the RAF Ibsley Watch Office and South Tower projects. Donations to the Lundy Fund will help ensure a secure and sustainable future for the island.
