Calverley Old Hall lunchtime webinars

The Landmark Trust are currently in the middle of a two-year project to restore Calverley Old Hall, a Grade I Listed medieval manor house in North Leeds. However, getting to this point has not been straightforward. Having owned the building for over 40 years, it is only now that we have been able to find a workable solution for the restoration and reuse of this incredible, semi-derelict building.

Wednesday 10 January (1pm- 2pm): Sustainability at Calverley Old Hall with Diane Hubbard of Green Footsteps Limited.

This webinar has already taken place but a recording for anyone who missed it is available below.

Come along to our online lunchtime webinar and hear from Cowper Griffith Architects as they discuss their architectural scheme, which beat almost 70 other imaginative schemes of reuse to become the winning design for Calverley Old Hall. The webinar will discuss the inception of the current scheme at Calverley, challenges and opportunities which have been identified along the way, as well as give more information and advice about designing for a historic building more generally. We will look both at Calverley Old Hall, but also at other historic buildings, which each bring their own challenges and opportunities when producing an architectural scheme of design.

The webinar is particularly suited to those who are working in, or have an interest in, the spheres of Architecture or Historic Building Conservation, however all are welcome to attend.
