“Following a wonderful and unexpected first booking with Landmark (flooding causing us to relocate our holiday to the charming 1960s modernist Anderton House in Devon), we remained on the Landmark mailing list and entered the raffle a few times. I couldn’t quite believe it when I received the call saying we had won the grand prize of £5,000 of vouchers last year.
Rather than go for one grand stay, we decided to split the vouchers across four stays through the year. At our first, Shute Gatehouse in Devon, our daughters took it in turns to have the bunk room in the outside turret, which was certainly a highlight for them. We still have three breaks to look forward to; Coombe Corner on the North Cornwall coast, Iron Bridge House in Shropshire and New Inn in Suffolk where we have invited some family to join us for our final raffle break.”

“We have begun a tradition of spending significant birthdays in special buildings so we have used our prize to book somewhere to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday with friends and family. We are most looking forward to seeing the roof in the living and dining room at Shelwick Court. We love the feel of Landmark Trust buildings, reading the logbooks, the building history, looking through the library and enjoying having a special building as our home for a few days.”
