In a loop of the River Coquet in a quiet wooded valley in Northumberland is Brinkburn Mill. It has a long working past, having been built in about 1800 near the site of its medieval predecessor. The wheel and grinding stones remain, although long unused.
This short history of Brinkburn Mill was written by Clayre Percy and is read by James Tynan.
