The Summerhouse stands in beautiful woodland on the Shuttleworth Estate. The outstandingly fine brickwork of this foursquare folly is likely to date from the early 18th century.

Tucked away in the pinewoods of the Shuttleworth Estate, Keeper’s Cottage is a model gamekeeper’s home from the late 19th century. The estate was once renowned for its shooting parties.

Warden Abbey is the last fragment of a once great abbey, founded in 1135, now stranded in quiet fields, of which the landscape speaks of past Cistercian wealth.
