Houghton West Lodge is one of four houses that guard the approaches to Houghton Hall,  one of England’s finest Palladian houses and once home to Britain's first Prime Minister.

Designed and constructed by James Mansergh and Robert Rawlinson, work began on Appleton Water Tower in 1877 to provide a clean water supply to the Sandringham Estate.

An intriguing building with distinctive brick gable-end, unique in Norfolk. Its moulded timbers and late 16th-century wall paintings demonstrate the skill and care taken in its construction.

Manor Farm is a traditional thatched and timber-framed farmhouse. Its timbers have been dated to 1610, and apart from minor additions it has not been altered since.
