The Birdhouse was designed in 1783 by the architect James Wyatt in a spectacular natural setting that could serve to define the Picturesque movement. Today, it is a romantic hideaway for two.

Langley Gatehouse was built in 1610. Nearing collapse when we began work on it, the north-east corner post was supported solely by a wine bottle wedged beneath its decayed foot.

Half of The White House is timber-framed and medieval. The other half dates from the 18th century. It has a spacious farmhouse kitchen and large garden.
