This beautiful little pavilion has two distinct faces and has a breath-taking panorama. Approached from the wood, this rustic cottage with a thatched roof houses an elegant interior.

William Beckford designed Beckford’s Tower in the 1820s as his museum and treasure house. Today the Tower recreates the flavour of Beckford’s extravagant and sumptuous interiors.

Marshal Wade’s House stands in the centre of Bath, neighbouring the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. It offers exceptional views of Jacob’s ladder, the famous carving on the Abbey’s west front.

One of the few medieval church houses to survive, the Parish House was built in about 1500, with fine views from the windows of the main room of the 15th-century church.

From the time the Priest’s House was built around 1500, it played a central part in community life as both a village hall and local inn, hosting visitors and village feasts on saints’ days.

This small thatched cottage is formed from the gatehouse of a medieval castle, which has seen 1000 years of dwelling. A thirteenth-century bridge takes you over a moat to the cottage.

Croscombe Old Hall was built in about 1420, originally as the main hall of a grand manor house. Its survival today is thanks to its revised purpose as a Baptist chapel from around 1720.

Woodspring Priory was founded in 1210 by William de Courtenay, grandson of one of the murderers of Thomas à Becket. Following the dissolution it became a serene family home. 

We rescued Gurney Manor in 1984, its careful repair taking eight years.  It is a place filled with ancient architectural detail and has an intriguing story to unravel.

Elton House is in the very centre of Bath, close to the abbey. It is a handsome and spacious Georgian building, one that you can imagine characters from Jane Austen novels emerging from.
