Rescue and Restore
Support from your regular donation this year will go in part to our upcoming projects to rescue and restore historic buildings at risk. RAF Ibsley Watch Office in Hampshire is a remarkable survival of the Second World War; a monument to human courage which we aspire to save. Just outside Scotland, in Edinburgh, Mavisbank is one of the most important British buildings at risk from imminent collapse.
Perpetuate traditional craft skills
Your reliable gift through Direct Debit ensures that we can commit to perpetuating and promoting traditional craft skills in the year ahead. We are proud to provide employment for hundreds of craftspeople, many from multi-generational family businesses local to our buildings. At Calverley Old Hall in West Yorkshire, bricklayer and stonemason Ellie Dobson was on site for over a year.
