Hard Hat Tours

We have had a wonderful response to our hard hat tours meaning that all spaces are now booked. However, please do keep your eye on the Eventbrite page below in case of cancellations.

With the success of our previous hard hat tours, we are pleased to be able to open the doors of Calverley Old Hall once more for a limited number of tours in September. Calverley Old Hall is a Grade I Listed Medieval manor house which is currently on the Heritage at Risk register, now under restoration by the Landmark Trust. Located in the village of Calverley, between Bradford and Leeds, the Hall has a fascinating past which spans over 700 years of history, with many stories to tell.

Join us on 15 September on one of our Hard Hat tours of the building for the opportunity to explore the Old Hall in the midst of its restoration. This will be one of the last opportunities to see the hall before the work is complete, so it is certainly an opportunity not to be missed.

Tours must be pre-booked in advance of the event. We expect the tours to be popular so please make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.

Please note: as the property is still an active building site, the site may be uneven in places. If you have any access requirements, please let us know in advance of the event and we will do our best to accommodate all requirements where possible. Please ensure that you are wearing sturdy, closed toe shoes or boots, with sensible clothing (long sleeves and long trousers are best).
