Getaways for Good
Free short breaks in extraordinary places for charities and those in need.
Getaways for Good
This spring we are pleased to relaunch the annual Landmark Trust scheme that offers free stays for charities and their service users in historic properties across the UK. Formerly known as '50 for Free', Getaways for Good continues a decade of work to provide opportunities to those most in need of a break.
Since 2015, the scheme has benefitted thousands of individuals in need of a holiday, a moment of respite, valuable time with loved ones, or a break from everyday life. Taking place over set dates in November 2026, applicants choose from a wide selection of Landmarks across England, Wales, Scotland.
Applications are now closed for 2026 stays.
Explore where to stay
We have selected 25 Landmarks in England, Scotland and Wales for applicants to choose from. This year properties include towers by the sea, fairytale castles, peaceful countryside cottages and easy-to-reach city centre pads.
The list of properties is also available as a simplified map and list.
